## Three chances to speak Tuesday, Sept. 1

The Planning Board's Sept. 1 agenda carries three public hearings. A public hearing is the part of a meeting set aside for residents to address the board on a specific application.

Two of the three are Verizon Wireless tower applications. The applicant on both is Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems, doing business as Verizon.

- **1222 Wildflower Drive.** Preliminary site plan approval for a 125-foot telecommunications tower with a four-foot lightning rod, along with ground-mounted equipment. The parcel is 14.2 acres in the R-3 Single Family Residential District.
- **Lake Road and County Line Road.** Preliminary site plan approval for a 125-foot tower with a four-foot lightning rod. The parcel is 7.8 acres in the LL Large-Lot Residential District.
- **764 Ridge Road.** Preliminary site plan approval for a 15,000-square-foot one-story addition to an existing 11,000-square-foot building.

## The rest of Tuesday's agenda

Five other items are scheduled without public hearings. Four of them are sign applications.

- **Penfield-Webster EMS, 607 Phillips Road.** One non-illuminated sign of 14.89 square feet.
- **Supercuts, 900 Holt Road.** One internally illuminated sign of 28 square feet.
- **Monroe County Water Authority, 593 Basket Road.** One non-illuminated sign of 18 square feet.
- **McAlpin Industries, 865 Hard Road.** Three internally illuminated wall-mounted signs, two wayfinding signs and one monument sign. They total 366.13 square feet.

The fifth item is final site plan approval for 36 feet of decorative exterior lighting at Bloom & Blend, 790 Ridge Road. The board is also set to act on its Aug. 4 minutes.

## The budget steps this week

The budget items on Monday, Thursday and Friday come from the town's published 2027 Budget Schedule. The town supervisor files the Tentative Budget with the Town Clerk on Monday. The Town Board is scheduled to approve it as presented on Thursday, which makes it the Preliminary Budget. That document is filed with the Town Clerk on Friday.

The same schedule sets the public hearing on the 2027 Preliminary Budget for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, and adoption of the 2027 Final Budget for the same meeting. That is the night residents can speak on the Preliminary Budget.
