  • Wednesday, Sept. 30, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. AARP Smart Driver Course, in the Community Room. The course was fully booked on Sept. 14. The listing asks participants to bring a check payable to AARP: $25 for AARP members or $30 for non-members. The library says cash is not accepted.

  • Friday, Oct. 2, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Stroke Prevention: Be Fast, in the Community Room. The presentation is from Lifespan, in collaboration with the University of Rochester Medical Center Neurosurgery Comprehensive Stroke Center.
