• Tuesday, Sept. 22, 6:30 p.m. Historic Tour of Downtown Rochester, a local history presentation in the Community Room by the author of the Gonechester blog. The library describes it as a tour of downtown Rochester buildings that did not survive into the present.
• Wednesday, Sept. 23, 6:30 p.m. Transition Planning for Students with Disabilities. The library lists it as an online-only presentation on Zoom. The presentation covers planning for the transition to post-secondary experiences.

• Wednesday, Sept. 30, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. AARP Smart Driver Course, in the Community Room. The course was fully booked on Sept. 14. The listing asks participants to bring a check payable to AARP: $25 for AARP members or $30 for non-members. The library says cash is not accepted.
• Thursday, Oct. 1, 6 to 8 p.m. Organizing, Preserving & Managing Your Research, the third course in the library's genealogy series, in the Community Room. • Friday, Oct. 2, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Stroke Prevention: Be Fast, in the Community Room. The presentation is from Lifespan, in collaboration with the University of Rochester Medical Center Neurosurgery Comprehensive Stroke Center.
