George Dobbins won the Republican primary for the 130th Assembly District once Wayne County's results came in, while the Democratic race remained undecided Wednesday as the district's two counties completed their count. The two primaries drew the most local interest among Webster voters. The district spans Monroe and Wayne counties, which report their results separately.

Dobbins trailed in Monroe County, where Mark C. Johns led the three-way Republican primary, but took the lead and the win once Wayne County, the majority of the district, reported. On the Democratic side, Carl Fitzsimmons led in Monroe County, and that race awaits Wayne County's count before a winner is known.

The state comptroller and 25th Congressional District races were decided. Thomas P. DiNapoli won the Democratic primary for comptroller, and Rep. Joseph D. Morelle won the Democratic primary in the 25th Congressional District.

These figures reflect Monroe County's portion of the district only, with all 37 of the county's election districts reporting. Wayne County, which makes up the rest of the 130th Assembly District, reports its results separately. No winner has been declared.

130th Assembly District, Republican primary

Dobbins won the three-way Republican primary, according to unofficial results reported by multiple outlets after Wayne County, the majority of the district, reported its count. Districtwide, Dobbins led with 2,087 votes to Johnson's 1,743 and Johns's 1,478.

The margin turned on Wayne County. In Monroe County, Johns led the field, taking 790 votes to Johnson's 465 and Dobbins's 393. Dobbins overtook both once Wayne County, which makes up the larger share of the district, reported.

Monroe County's results, with all 37 election districts reporting, are available on the Monroe County Board of Elections Enhanced Voting page. Wayne County's results, which provided the decisive margin, are reported by the Wayne County Board of Elections.

State comptroller, Democratic primary

DiNapoli won the statewide Democratic primary for comptroller. In Monroe County, with all 659 precincts reporting, DiNapoli led with 25,784 votes, about 72.0 percent. Drew Warshaw followed with 5,694 votes, about 15.9 percent, and Raj Goyle with 4,148 votes, about 11.6 percent. Write-in votes totaled 176.

25th Congressional District, Democratic primary

Morelle won the primary. In Monroe County, with all 659 precincts reporting, Morelle led with 23,583 votes, about 63.2 percent. Robin Wilt followed with 11,345 votes, about 30.4 percent, and Sherita S. Traywick with 2,233 votes, about 6.0 percent. Write-in votes totaled 151.

Because those contests had only Democratic primaries, no Republican primary results appeared on the Monroe County ballot for state comptroller or the 25th Congressional District.

All figures are unofficial. Monroe County figures reflect Monroe County Board of Elections results, and districtwide Republican primary figures reflect unofficial results reported by multiple outlets after Wayne County reported. Boards of elections will continue counting absentee and affidavit ballots in the days after the primary, and totals will change before results are certified. Percentages are rounded and may not total 100.

The Republican and Democratic primaries appeared on separate ballots, and only voters registered with each party could vote in that party's contest.

Polls across New York closed at 9 p.m. Tuesday. The winners of Tuesday's primaries advance to the general election on Nov. 3.
