How to register for Webster's fall recreation programs

The town's 2026 fall program guide covers preschool through 55+ programs. It lists four ways to sign up.

Webster Parks and Recreation's 2026 fall program guide lists classes, leagues and events for preschoolers through adults 55 and older.

Several family events, youth basketball and school-break camps start between late October and late December. The full guide is online.

How to register

The guide lists four ways to sign up:

  • Online, through the Parks and Recreation page on the town website.
  • Through the department's app. Search "Webster Parks & Recreation" in your app store.
  • By phone at 585-872-7103, option 0.
  • In person at the Webster Recreation Center, 1350 Chiyoda Drive.

The guide lists office hours of 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Registration for residents and Premier Members began Monday, Aug. 3. Registration for nonresidents began Monday, Aug. 10. The guide defines a resident as anyone who pays a tax bill to the Town of Webster.

If a class has not met its minimum enrollment five days before its start date, the department reserves the right to cancel it.

A sampling of programs

Preschool. Preschool Adventures, for ages 2 to 6, meets Thursday mornings for $58. Session B starts Oct. 8 and Session C starts Nov. 5.

Youth basketball. The Webster Basketball Association's instructional house league plays Sundays from Nov. 8 to Feb. 7, 2027, for $122 per player. The guide says those times and dates are subject to change depending on enrollment and gym availability, with definitive times confirmed at the beginning of November.

Webster North Coast, the department's travel basketball program, is open to players in grades 3 through 8 who live in the Webster School District. Tryouts are free. Girls tryouts are at the Recreation Center on Sept. 23 and Sept. 26. Players must attend both dates. A league fee applies once teams are formed.

School-break camps. Conference Day Camps for kindergarten through fifth grade run Nov. 19, 20, 23 and 24 at $40 per day. Holiday Break Camp, for the same grades, runs Dec. 28 to Dec. 31 for $160.

Adults. Pickleball Lessons for Beginners, for ages 18 and up, cost $66. Later sessions start Sept. 30, Oct. 1, Oct. 19, Nov. 27 and Nov. 28.

55+. Talks on Tuesdays are free lectures at 10:30 a.m. at the Recreation Center, with registration required. Topics include "Crossing the Main Street Bridge" on Oct. 6 and "Life of the Seneca" on Dec. 8.

Fall events

  • Mud Run: Saturday, Sept. 19, at 1350 Chiyoda Drive. The family-friendly, noncompetitive, untimed event is for ages 5 and up. Participants can start any time between 10 a.m. and noon. The cost is $5 per person.
  • Pumpkins on Parade: Saturday, Oct. 24, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the Chiyoda Trail at the Recreation Center. The event is free and open to the public, with no registration required. A $5 Family Carving Night for Pumpkins on Parade, which requires registration, is Friday, Oct. 23.
  • Family Scavenger Hunt: Saturday, Nov. 7, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Webster Arboretum at 1700 Schlegel Road. The guide asks families to start by noon. The hunt is for ages 2 to 12 with an adult, at $5 per child paid at the event. The guide asks families to register ahead if possible and welcomes walk-ins. Proceeds go to the Friends of Webster Trails.
  • Photos with Santa: Saturday, Dec. 12, 1 to 3 p.m. at the Recreation Center.

The guide says the department adds new programs and family events to its website throughout the season.
