Where to find agendas, minutes and recordings for Webster's public boards
A board-by-board guide to where Webster's town, village, school district and library post meeting schedules, agendas, minutes and video.
Webster's town, village, school district and library each post their boards' meeting records online, starting from their own websites. Some town boards keep separate pages as well. The town and the village are separate governments, and our guide to how Webster is governed explains what each one handles.
Town of Webster: Town Board, Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals
When they meet. The town's Town Board page says the board meets on the first and third Thursday of each month unless otherwise specified. Workshops start at 6:30 p.m. and meetings at 7:30 p.m. The page says dates and times are subject to change and asks residents to check the town calendar. The Planning Board page says that board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. The Zoning Board of Appeals page gives the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. The town calendar sometimes sets a Planning Board or ZBA meeting on a different Tuesday, so confirm the date there before you go.
The Planning Board and ZBA pages say meetings are held in the Town Board Meeting Room at 1002 Ridge Road unless otherwise stated, and the town calendar lists Town Board meetings in the same room. On the calendar, Town Board meetings are under Main Town Calendar, and the Planning Board and ZBA each have their own meeting schedule calendar. The calendar page also offers an iCalendar subscription.
Agendas. Agendas post in the town's Agenda Center, which has a section for each of the three boards; click a board's name to open its list. A meeting appears there once its agenda is posted, so check the calendar for dates further out. Each listing offers the agenda as a web page or a PDF, along with a packet download. To be notified when agendas and results post, sign up for the Board Meeting Agendas & Results list on the town's Notify Me page. The town says that list covers the Town Board, Planning Board and Zoning Board.
Results and minutes. The Town Board page says agendas, meeting documents, results and minutes can all be found in the Agenda Center. After meetings, the town also posts a "Results for" item in the Board Meeting Agendas & Results section of its news page. Minutes go in the same Agenda Center listing as the agenda. A note on the Agenda Center says minutes are posted once a board approves them, so the newest meetings may not have minutes yet. For earlier years, the same note points to the town's Archive Center.
Video. The Agenda Center has a Media column with links to meeting video. The videos are on the town's YouTube channel, which the town links from its home page. The channel's Live tab lists Town Board meetings and workshops, along with Planning Board, ZBA and Conservation Board meetings.
For what each of the three boards decides, see our guide to who decides what in Webster. For how a ZBA appeal works, see our explainer on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Conservation Board
The town's Conservation Board page says the board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings take place in the Webster Town Board Room at 1002 Ridge Road unless otherwise stated. The board's agendas, minutes and project reports are on a separate Conservation Board Meetings page, sorted by year. The town says that page shows past and upcoming agendas, so check it for meeting dates. Our profile of the Conservation Board explains what it reviews and how residents can take part.
Board of Assessment Review
The town's Board of Assessment Review page says its meeting schedule is decided each year and that meetings have historically been held in May. Our explainer on the Board of Assessment Review covers Grievance Day and how to file.
Village of Webster: Village Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Historic Preservation Commission
When they meet. The village meetings page says the Village Board meets on the second and fourth Thursday of every month, with workshops as needed. The page lists village Zoning Board of Appeals meetings on the third Thursday of every month. The page says both boards begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Village of Webster Community Meeting Hall at 29 South Ave. Confirm Village Board and ZBA dates on the village calendar. The meetings page lists the Historic Preservation Commission on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Webster Museum, 18 Lapham Park.
Agendas and minutes. The village meetings page has its own set of document links for each board. Under Village Board Meeting Documents, click Agendas, Packets or Minutes. Under Zoning Board Meeting Documents, click Meeting Agendas or Minutes. Those links open the village's document library on eCode360.
Video. The meetings page says all board meetings stream live on the village's Facebook page, which it links. The page says past meetings are on the village's YouTube channel.
Webster Central School District Board of Education
When it meets. The district's board calendar for the 2026-27 school year says meetings are held at 5 p.m. at the District Office, 119 South Ave. The calendar gives the room as the second-floor Professional Development Center, unless otherwise noted. The calendar is linked from the district's Board of Education meetings page, where the link notes that the calendar is also in BoardDocs.
Agendas and minutes. The board page links BoardDocs and labels it "Agendas, Calendar & Minutes." Open the Meetings tab in BoardDocs and choose a meeting to see its agenda and attachments. Minutes are posted in BoardDocs with the meeting they cover.
Video. The district calendar says regular business meetings are live streamed on the Board of Education meetings page. That page carries a player for the next meeting. Below the player is a playlist of past meetings from the district's YouTube channel. The same page links a form for anyone who wants to speak at a meeting.
Webster Public Library Board of Trustees
The library's board documents page says the Board of Trustees meets the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. and that everyone is welcome to attend. The town's Library Board page says meetings take place at the Webster Public Library, 980 Ridge Road, unless otherwise stated. The library says that when a meeting is remote, the public can get the Zoom link by emailing the library director. The board documents page points to the library's events calendar for more information.
The board documents page lists each meeting's documents by date, most often as a single board packet. Earlier years are on the library's archived board documents page.
Town records that aren't posted online
For town records that aren't online, the town's Freedom of Information page explains how to file a request under New York's Freedom of Information Law. The page says completed request forms can be emailed to the Town Clerk's Office or mailed to Town Hall at 1000 Ridge Road. Questions go to the clerk's office at 585-872-7060.
